The focus for this project was the optimization for the production. The street light is still used and can be found on many crossing around the whole Netherlands.
Visibility and safety
Visibility is crucial for a street light and can ultimately safe lives. With the improved design, that factor increased and safety could be pushed further than before.

Despite the long time since the design of the Vialis street light was finalized, the product still serves its purpose. Its design does not contrast with current road and traffic trends and provides a safe environment for public and private transport.
