VJTechnologies aims to design and built a state-of-the-art CT scanning system for high-end demanding industries. This redesigned CT scanner will replace VJ’s existing system and must achieve a new level of accuracy, within a few micron. Next to that, the scanning range must be increased. The new dimension (height = 2690mm, width = 4300mm) makes it the largest system for VJTechnology (within a base column construction) so far.
VJTechnologies gave us the opportunity to design and engineer this high-end CT scanning machine.

Accuracy

To ensure such a high level of accuracy and meet the client’s requirements, the mechanics, overall construction, assembly procedures, and compensation software must be perfectly aligned. This requires close collaboration between multiple parties and a deep understanding of how the entire system operates. A comprehensive overview is essential to understand how the different components affect one another.

Building and testing

Before a machine is delivered, the entire system is thoroughly tested and measurement reports are prepared. Every small detail during the building and testing process can make a difference, ultimately determining whether the outcome is positive or negative.
