Convenience through technology
Babyfirst EZ I is a smart child safety car seat for newborns and children up to 7 years old, focusing on safety, ease of use and comfort. It features electronic rotating and tilting for ergonomic control. Parents can operate it with a smartphone app, in-car system, voice control, or buttons.
Intuitive technology
The user interface design is focused on the emotional experience of the user, in which smart technology will support usability and comfort. Interactive elements such as handles and interfaces should be clearly visible and intuitive to use. The innovative sliding touch method to control rotation, is ergonomically placed on both sides to avoid bending over of the parent.
In addition to the buttons on the child safety seat, parents can also control the seat with a smartphone app, in-car app and even voice control.

Carefully designed
Carefully designed elements blend into one harmonious design. The sleek central contour line gives a sense of movement. A sophisticated venting pattern blends into the back surface complementing modern car design.
We also supported BabyFirst in the design of the seat’s upholstery to give it a high-end look, by looking for matching colors, textures and returning elements of the pattern.
Sustainable story
Throughout the product development process, we like to think alongside customers about sustainability and circularity solutions.
The main cover fabric is made of Recycled PET Fabric, whose yarn is extracted from discarded mineral water bottles and cola bottles. It saves nearly 80% of energy compared to conventional processes for producing polyester fiber.
BabyFirst also offers a service for recycling baby seats, regardless the brand. Plastic materials are converted into recycled plastics through five recycling steps: disassembly, crushing, sorting, color selection, and modified granulation. Over 500 safety seats have already been recycled in the past three months.
